I had the same problem. I renewed my account... and then I might have posted 4 or 5 crappy photos, since.

Some people just love photography itself, but I discovered that if 'sharing' (as opposed to purely 'taking') is the main reason you take photos and if you have other means to share without having to so; well then, you won't be taking a lot of photos.
Which sums up my excuse for my practically dead Flickr account. I haven't taken a photo - dolly or anything else - in ages.

I'll be devils advocate here! I'd say don't burn your bridges, Flickr wise. Everyone goes through "dead spots" dolly photo wise. Even if your participation is sporadic, it's better than not having a choice. And $25 isn't too bad for unlimited storage really...

$25 a year is really not that bad - it's a little over $2 a month? That's cheaper than a latte!

I'm pretty sure Flickr lets you have a grace period though - maybe let it expire for a while and see how you feel about it?

See if anyone you know uses Rogers for cable/phone, and has a rogers email they are not using, or even if they are using it, don't really care/need flickr! It's free for life if you've got a rogers email, I stole my moms :)

If it weren't for that I probably would have let mine expire but it would be a real pain because I know I'm just going through a photo-less slump, and once I get back into it I'd regret not keeping the pro.

But seriously, I'm sure there must be someone out there with a rogers email that isn't using it for flickr :)
