btw, Jethro Tull already did that exact thing in 1972

'Thick as a Brick' starts out in D, and goes up the entire chromatic scale and ends an octave up on D minor.

This comment battle reminds me of something you'd see on youtube.

Dream Theater had some brilliant songs and albums (even if James Labrie sounds like a girl). But now they are just a solid rock/metal/prog group who occasionally has some cool stuff. They're still good, but as the D-Chuck put it, nothing special.
