Well, late winter, really, but who cares.

Standard daffodil, hanging out next to the rhubarb

Funny looking multi-petaled ruffly daffodils, down near the septic tank.

The rhubarb seems happy, despite its unwelcome morning glory neighbour. Due to health/weather, I haven't cleared the last few square feet of it yet.

Snowdrops up top, white native violets below.

IDK what these are. Hyacinths?

Blue star flowers. I love these. I'd like them in the garden as well as in this tatty hanging pot, but they seem to like it in there so much, I'm kinda nervous about disturbing them without good cause. When the pot finally falls apart, then, maybe.

Dandelions in my very overgrown back lawn.

My rosemary is in full bloom, and covered in bees.

Some vegetables starting to pop up. I think the top one is a broad beans or pea. The second one is a radish.

And here are the radishes a few days later, looking like actual plants already.

A while ago, a chime fell off the wind chimes my Grandma gave me when I was a kid. Then, we had a storm go through and two more dropped, leaving one single sad chime on its own. So I got it down, cut some lengths off the spool of fishing line and mended it. Took me all of ten minutes. It's a little wonky, but it was anyway, so, it's all good.

A couple of roos have been hanging out in the paddock next door. They're pretty chill, as the village regulars tend to be.

Some charity shop finds from Vinnies - 100% pure wool jumper, commercial machine knit, $15. Girls are Best, The Long Way Round and the Ghost Writer, all $2 each. Also bought Shadows Fall by Simon R Green and Juliet Marillier's Wildwood Dancing for a couple of bucks each from Bathurst Care Centre. We got a couple of $2 cushions for the dogs, too, since they've pretty much destroyed the ones we picked up from the tip a couple of years ago.

Also on its way to us - Young Avengers Volume 2, which I bought for myself for my birthday.
