...wow, i never knew that livejournal was censored in china. therefore, couldn't do any posting for a month.

other than that, china was great. much love to my motherland and fuck the western press for always screwing china's image up. i know i know...china doesn't have the greatest image or whatever, but the west (esp germany, france, and usa)

My biggest problem with the western media is how hypocritical they are (and you know i ain't pro-CCP haha)... yes China has one of the worst human rights records, but who are these arrogant people to tell the Chinese they need to improve while they themselves have direct influence over this everyday. Anyone who owns anything that's made in China has no right to criticize. And what about human rights for the natives? I fail to see how the natives are not as 'oppressed' as the Tibetans are. It also really pissed me off when a Buddhist temple in Japan refused to let the torch pass through... excuse me, how about you own up to what your own fucked up country did in terms of human rights before you start criticizing others? Least you could do it admit that you did it
