Well, I've been vegetarian for 20 odd years, and vegan for about 10 (although I'm very lapsy these days. I just really like milk chocolate :/) , so I'm kind of used to not eating fish. I do rather miss it sometimes though.
I'm good thanks, although kind of swamped. So much to do and so little time :/ And yet again, totally useless at replying to comments. Soon though, hopefully!
Ahhh. I didn't consider that you were vegetarian or vegan. Sorry! :/ Maybe it was the wording? You said that you hadn't eaten fish, but not that fish wouldn't be something you'd eat, so...so I guess I figured you DID eat it, but it had just been a while? Yeah?
And I'm always curious, when someone's made that decision to change their diet, why they made the choice, simply because with everyone there seems to be a different reason. Maybe I could ask why? (Eh, if it's too personal then forget it. :/)
So much to do and so little time :/ ughhh I know what that is like. no worries.
Hahah, yes. I've seen up to 1x04 Chris. I've been meaning to watch 1x05, too. But I watched both Cassie's and Jal's episodes in ONE. DAY. and then Chris's the day after, so I've been taking a bit of a break.
I'm not sure I have a lot of thoughts on the first episode. It was the beginning, and really meant to kick-start you into the show, but what IS there to say? For one thing, all the characters were so well defined, even ten minutes in! :O As for 1x02...agh, that episode did not sit right with me. It just shook me up, and I'm not sure how much I CAN talk about it. I enjoyed 1x03 a lot, but Chris's is by far my favorite episode, from what I've seen. But yeah! Anything goes, I guess. Let's talk!
Really? How so? I'm really curious. The way her family was, the way she thought and lived, the atmosphere of the clinic, and the way a lot of people treated (or ignored) her...I don't think I can pin it down on one thing. I guess you would call it a trigger? But I don't personally relate to the specific issues in Cassie's life. It's just that the feeling of the episode was all-around unsafe. That's as well as I can explain it, which isn't much. Do you understand, though? :/
I do like Cassie. I haven't seen enough to really love any character yet, but my favorites are Jal and Chris. Sid's close behind. As for the Stonems, Tony's quite the prick (though it seems like Skins can make me adore almost anyone, given enough time, so - we'll see), and I don't know anything about Effy yet, as she's only showed up two short times: 1) Her first appearance in 1x01, coming back home from God only knows where, and 2) the little sitting room scene where Jal is waiting for Tony and Michelle to stop eating face (oh man), and Effy makes the blowjob
