I went out today to find a quiet place to sit and work on my script and was surprised by how many places weren't closed for Family Day, Ontario's new godawfully-named mid-February holiday. (Although on the way home I did see a big sign in a store window that said "Family Day is made possible by: SEX!" which made me giggle

that's by far the most comfortable library on campus. the only problem is it's really hard not to nap.

I'd long heard tell of Hart House Library's comfort, but I didn't realize it would be accessible to a non-student.

P.S. I saw Mr. Naccarato the other day. And Miss Bolger, of all people. Remember her?!

I wonder what Mr. Naccarato is doing now. Remember when he dressed as the solar system for Hallowe'en?

Teaching, apparently, although I don't remember where. I didn't talk to him, but my mother did, so I just stood by awkwardly.

Remember when he hung that portrait of himself by his desk to watch over us at lunch with its haunting eyes?
