After much discussion, Adam and I have decided this will be our last season playing ice hockey. Our season's just about halfway finished right now, by the end of October, I'll be 'retired.' I saw a blurb in one of my magazines about a program called Get Golf Ready. For $99 you get 5 one-hour lessons taught by a pro. Adam signed up, one of my co-workers signed up, and there's only one other guy in the goup, so it's pretty hands on. Today we covered putting. It was fun, but man, it requires a lot of concentration!

We've had such a fun summer with our Hawaii vacation and our long weekend in Vegas - but it makes me want to travel more. Time off at work is not a problem, the problem is finances. I'd imagine if more people could afford it, they would travel. There is so much out there to see. My wishlist of destinations is long ( Read more... )

Crazy Andy at work cracks me up. He used to sit in our bank of cubicles, but got switched into another section so he's a few banks away now. Now that the budgets for next year are in, I'm starting to get busy at work again. It had been on the slow side for the last month or so.
