Everyone should be dorky and post about words on lj like I do

                 You know what makes me mad? When authors, either published or some pretentious retard who wrote a paper in one of my classes, get stuck on a single word. Probably the favorite "hey look at me I know a big word" word of students appears to be "juxtapose" or some form of it. Half the time, they don't even use it correctly. Yet there ( Read more... )

I'm in disaccord with your altercation betided you and the GREAT Angela Carter. Utilizing words you scarcely know the definition of....is a sign of aptitude. Heck, I use words I don't know the connotation off ALL the time, sometimes I know the denotation and I intentionally use it incorrectly just for fun! Whereas the real bliss comes from making up words that sounds big and fun...but aren't really words at all.

No you're not crazy for enjoying words, but that little coversation you just had with yourself makes me a little worried. ;-)

In fact, "noodle" is a suprisingly comforting word when you are upset! You should try it sometime.

I love juxtaposing my altercations, and alerting fellow juxtateers of incorrect juxtaposing happening in the dark alleys of the PC. In fact im gonna go juxtapose as i juxtapose, while exemplifying.
