There seems to be a interweb consensus that the Victorian Silurian and her girlfriend need a spin off:  *hand raised to cast my 'yes' vote*

My thought on River's lack of recognition in the first few episodes - remember she was surrounded by the Silence most of that time and any moment they were present in will be gone and the moments around them damaged. Maybe she doesn't remember it properly?

(and apparently he did tell AK ahead of the rest of the cast but she didn't say when exactly that was...)
