maybe I just don't understand international football, but I think it would do well with a video review system of some sort. If a play gets hit in the shoulder and falls down but pretends to cry and hold his face to draw a record, he should be suspended. That's just me maybe ( Read more... )

Mid-game replay reviews would wholly ruin any of the appeal of soccer, and make it slow and lame like American football. The whole point of soccer is that the action never stops, thus reviews are bad. However, they do review things after the game, and FIFA will fine players who were obviously doing something stupid - in World Cup 2002, Rivaldo was fined for acting when he got hit in the shin and grabbed his face in pain.

Personally, I think it would all just be better if the fuckers would stop diving.

wrong, the action stops for a minute or so, plently of time to check, if they know they are being watched they wont dive, like you just said, fear creates order

They are being watched, that's what the ref is for :-P And the action doesn't stop for a minute or so, if there's a big scuffle, or an injury, or several cards the action will stop for up to a minute, but for a foul the action only stops for a few seconds - replays would ruin that.

So everyone in this post is prolly gonna hate me:

I like soccer the way it is. I was a referee and yeah I prolly missed a few things, but it's all good. I almost like the fact that everyone I know jumped off the soccer bandwagon as fast as they jumped on.

I've never seen any previous Supermans. Let me add salt to the wound and say I thoroughly loved the new Superman. It didn't feel like it was 2.5 hours, and I never got antsy. I'd list all the things I'd enjoy but I'm sure you'd have rebuttal to everyone. And I liked the 3D scenes. Do any of my comments have any merit? Probably not. Who knows. FINE. :)

Love, Nick

i think if the world cup was maybe every two years, people would stay more interested

if you enjoyed it you enjoyed it, you cant rebuttal if someone enjoyed something. concerning the 3-D where in the theater where you sitting? I was in the row that you enter the theater from pretty fair on the left. i could see everything just fine but maybe it would have looked better if i was farther back

Touch鮠 I'm bummed I have to wait fours years to see if Romania can get it together.

I think I was 3/4 up the stairway, 5 seats in, left side looking at the screen. Last Wednesday 10PM. haha Had Paco's Tacos for the frist time before it. I will become a repeated offender of the chicken chimi and beef taco. I highly recomend, centinella and washington.
