I haven't updated properly in ages and I can't really be bothered now but I'll forget everything if I don't.
This wont be in any particular order so bear with me!
-Rob got his results back and he got a first, just like I knew he would. I'm so proud of him. And he started his new job on Monday, working for JB&B in London. They are putting him through his Masters as well, which is amazing.
-I haven't worked all summer, which sounds good but is actually quite boring. I have been sunbathing quite a lot and researching my dissertation lit review. Apart from that: nothing.
-A few of zee Germans Rob went to uni with have been to visit. Andreas came for the weekend with his girlfriend and we met them in London for booze and sightseeing.
This weekend just gone, Marcel came to stay with us for the weekend and brought his friend Kai. We had a really good weekend. Took them out into Southend on Friday and just went to some bars. Saturday we went into London and did the touristy thing and met up with Sennan [another boy off their course]. We got the train back and started drinking white russians. Then got a lift into town and went to the Brush. It was a brilliant night. I danced so much and wasn't too drunk as I stopped drinking half way through the night-clever Lex. Pictures for your delectation:

-My parents are buying me a laptop this week and I'm so excited! It's one of those Vaio ones and it's so pretty useful for uni work.
-I think we are going to Egypt in January for a week which should be really good.
-Also planning to go to Florida for 2 weeks in May with a group of mates to celebrate when I finish uni-eeep!!
-My rents are coming to stay in Southend in a few weeks. I'm quite nervous about the parents meeting each other! I'm not sure why. I guess it makes it more definite and serious? Hmmm, maybe I'm just talking bollocks...
-I'm actually quite excited about my third year coming up. I got the modules I wanted [Death and dying, cultures of health and illness, research practices and children, childhood and the law] and I'm confident that my dissertation could be really good if I put the work in.
-Rob and I went into London for the day last week to celebrate his job starting. We went to the Natural history museum and got stressed at all the small children everywhere. Then we went shopping where a lady in H&M accidently punched me in the face trying on a jacket! Then we went to TGI Fridays for, possibly, the worst meal and service I've ever had in my life. Then we went to Covent Garden to see a show. We went to see The Complete Works of Shakespeare [abridged]. It was so funny. I saw them when I was in school but it was even better this time. My cheeks hurt from laughing and Rob really enjoyed himself which he didn't expect to.
[getting weird looks from normal posing tourists in NHM is a must]
-A girl called Claire Watkins added me on facebook and I just sat staring at the screen saying 'oh....my....god....claire watkins! oh my god!!' over and over again until Rob shouted 'WHO THE FUCK IS CLAIRE WATKINS???' She was my best friend when I lived in Warminster and we were totally inseparable. I haven't seen her in about 15 years. She's got a little girl and has been married and getting divorced soon. I told her that that is really weird to me because, really, she's still only 7. So that's impossible for me to grasp. She's been filling me in on everything and everyone, so weird! It's strange to try to imagine what I would've been like if we hadn't moved up north.
-I am running out of things to say. FACT.
Blah. The end.
