it seems to me that if you're ever in a foreign place and needing to feel familiar, you can just go to the mall. most malls seem to be the same. it's sort of comforting, in a really weird ( way )
shannon, this makes me so happppppyyyyyyyyyy. you sound so productive! but DON'T YOU DARE skip that class again. that's like missing 20% of the class!! and thanks for the ratatat phonecall. half my dorm was in my room and so unbelievably jealous (i put it on speaker) ps: hannah clager and i planned like 5 trips to new york for the rest of 08, so let me know when you're thinking of coming over to this side of the country and we can work something out!
oh man, i'm glad that the timing was right enough for us to strike envy in the hearts of your peers, but i really just wish you could have been there to dance. i feel like you, above anyone else i know, would have LOVED IT (and dominated the dance floor at the same time).
to be honest, i don't think i'm going to be able to make it over there until next semester unless a significant amount of money falls into my lap. but don't forget about me! because i freaking fantasize about the day i'll finally make it over to your neck of the woods and will NOT give up.
