Hey. It hurt my feelings how you just stopped answering my messages; if you don't want to talk to me, just say so.

I hope you're doing well. It's good to hear that you're on the path to transition; gender dysphoria sucks. (BTW, what name do you go by now?) It's also neat to hear about your cosplay panel. Anyhoo.

I prefer to go by Vera. Getting people to actually use it is the trick.

Awkwardness does in fact suck; I think there are at least three elephants in the room with us. In any case I'm glad that I finally told you that and I appreciate the reply. I feel a little silly for not having a more solid plan for what to do with said reply; I always liked hanging out with you but, again, elephants (which may or may not be insurmountable, but I think we both have a lot on our plates right now). I think I'll just wish you a nice life, Vera, and leave it at that.

Or, I don't know, maybe we could construct some sort of elephant-less space, assuming you wanted to. Or go at the elephants with bats. Or just lurk on each others' web space. Like I said, I'm more with the fumbling than with the plans.
