What??? Who've you made miserable? Not me, that's for sure. You are always a bright spot in my day.

Only 5 or 6 days behind... what'd I miss? We who enjoy your occasional pop-ups on-line desire enlightenment. Come on: give - whaddup?

You only make me miserable by your absence... too sophomoric? too soporofic? too much? ah well...

So do tell...

Someone pointed out to me that I was the cause of a whole lot of misery in her life a few years ago. Maybe even now. And I hadn't even realised it. While I know full well that this person likes to make a drama about everything and has a very warped perception, I think that this is probably true to some extent. She told me that she has been holding out for an apology for years.. in other words, I suppose, only her burning resentment towards me has prevented her from getting me out of her life ( ... )

Sometimes an apology, even a late one, can do wonders for someone you've really hurt. Maybe you don't think you've hurt her that much, but it can never be a bad thing to right a wrong, even if you think it's undeservedly so. And you'd be surprised by what people remember and hold on to. If you say or do something really hurtful to someone and never apologize for it, it'll just make them think you don't care about them or how they feel, and of course they'll hold a grudge and be extra sensitive about everything after that. So why should they bother being nice to you if you're not "nice" to them? Just looking at this objectively, of course. Not criticizing or anything ( ... )

Well I did apologise. And in the moment I really meant it. I don't think it was enough though.
