riptalon writes "Dan Brown, the author of The Da Vinci Code, is being sued in the UK for using ideas from a previous non fiction book The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail in his novel. The Bangkok Post states that 'The question the court is facing is whether you can copyright an idea, a conjecture.'"

I still havent read the book, but didnt I hear that he listed The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail as a source somewhere? I could be wrong. Either way, great timing for this since it will give the movie more of a pull to go see what the big deal is and both books will also get a new surge of readers... its all about the money.
