I totally had an opportunity to buy The Shadow of the Wind a few weeks ago when I was in Kalamazoo--the guy at the next booth from mine was selling history mysteries and brought that one because of its gothic style (it was a medieval studies conference). However, I bought another book from him already so I decided to pass. Perhaps I could borrow it from you if you didn't check it out of the library?

I'm a little over halfway through Blindness. What a truly outstanding book. I also plan to blog on it when I'm through with it.

Also, did you know that there's a sequel to Blindness, 'Seeing'? That might be my next withdrawal from Library West.
