LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT. I was ill all Friday (I actually got a fever 2h before I was supposed to go see it), but Harry Potter > my health, so I went anyways xD I think I didn't have one by the time it started.
Then on Saturday I had to go to Barcelona cause my mum had to attend a course so I went to a matinee of the film in English (my city is too small to have a cinema for original versions of films ¬¬) and I even loved it more. Probably because on the first time, the audience laughed at everything, even things that were not funny, wtf? Don't they understand the emotional distress these characters are going through (me too)? Okay, some lines were funny, but not all the film ¬¬ Some people were even laughing when Harry goes to look at the cupboard under the stairs, wtf?
I was supposed to go and see it again today (this time with my mum), but we had to look after my niece so we couldn't go :( I NEED to watch it again soon. I may go once during the week too. Too bad I have to watch it in Spanish, after seeing it English I relised how flat and un-emotional some lines were dubbed.
I sobbed all the way through, when Hermione obliviates her parents, Hedwig's death (I had read they had changed that part, but I thought it was so Hedwig wouldn't die, I was devastated), when Fred sees George, Mad-Eye's death, Ron leaving, Godric's Hollow, Ron coming back, all the locket scene, almost all the way through Malfoy Manor, and Dobby ;_; I'm tearing up just typing this.
Things I loved, in no particular order:
- All the Ron/Hermione goodness. My heart fluttered every time there was a little moment between them ♥
- The Tale of the Three Brothers. Wow. The style of the animation was outstanding.
- RUPERT FUCKING GRINT. He was so amazing. I loved that this time they gave Ron his character back, it shows that Kloves chose to stuck a bit more to the source material than all the other times.
- The Silver Doe. Favourite chapter in the books, and it was perfectly done, except two things (below).
- Malfoy Manor. Emma was pretty good in this film, but this scene, oh my god her screams.
- The Ministry, even Harry/Rancorn's silly walk xD
- Idk, basically everything.
Things I didn't like as much:
- After the locket scene, it needed THE HUG and "she's like my sister, I thought you knew that". I guess Kloves is still a H/Hr shipper.
- Ron should have shouted Hermione's name during the torturing.
Idk, I'm still a bit overwhelmed and I don't know what else to say xD
