Watching the Golden Globes' red carpet rn, I thought I'd post about my predictions for tonight!

Best Motion Picture - Drama
Black Swan
The Fighter
Inception
The King's Speech
The Social Network

I really don't know who to root for, I loved all of them! I'll be happy for whichever wins.

Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama
Jesse Eisenberg for The Social Network
Colin Firth for The King's Speech
James Franco for 127 Hours
Ryan Gosling for Blue Valentine
Mark Wahlberg for The Fighter

Like with the films, I'll be happy whoever wins. The only one I've still haven't seen is Blue Valentine, but I love Ryan Gosling.

Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama
Halle Berry for Frankie and Alice
Nicole Kidman for Rabbit Hole
Jennifer Lawrence for Winter's Bone
Natalie Portman for Black Swan
Michelle Williams for Blue Valentine

Only watched 2 of the films here (Black Swan and Winter's Bone) but Natalie Portman all the way!

Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture
Christian Bale for The Fighter
Michael Douglas for Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps
Andrew Garfield for The Social Network
Jeremy Renner for The Town
Geoffrey Rush for The King's Speech

As much as I love Andrew, this is for Christian Bale, he was fucking amazing in The Fighter.

Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture
Amy Adams for The Fighter
Helena Bonham Carter for The King's Speech
Mila Kunis for Black Swan
Melissa Leo for The Fighter
Jacki Weaver for Animal Kingdom

Haven't seen Animal Kingdom, all of them did a very good job, but I think it will go to Melissa Leo.

Best Director - Motion Picture
Darren Aronofsky for Black Swan
David Fincher for The Social Network
Tom Hooper for The King's Speech
Christopher Nolan for Inception
David O. Russell for The Fighter

I have a soft spot for David Fincher, but I will be happy with whoever wins.

Best Screenplay - Motion Picture
127 Hours (2010): Danny Boyle, Simon Beaufoy
Inception (2010): Christopher Nolan
The Kids Are All Right (2010): Stuart Blumberg, Lisa Cholodenko
The King's Speech (2010): David Seidler
The Social Network (2010): Aaron Sorkin

I'd like for Inception to win, but again, I won't be terribly disappointed if anyone else gets it.

Best Original Score - Motion Picture
127 Hours (2010): A.R. Rahman
Alice in Wonderland (2010): Danny Elfman
Inception (2010): Hans Zimmer
The King's Speech (2010): Alexandre Desplat
The Social Network (2010): Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross

Why is this year so hard to decide which one I want to win? Rooting for Hans Zimmer though.

Best Animated Film
Despicable Me
How to Train Your Dragon
L'illusionniste
Tangled
Toy Story 3

Loved How to Train Your Dragon, but I want Toy Story to win. It probably will.

It starts in 20min!
