Try "Master and Margarita" by Bulgakov. Or were you not looking for suggestions?

I also recommend drawing a bull's-eye on the wall, banging head against it, lather, rinse, repeat.

(sorry, I'm kinda punchy tonight)

Hmmm... I'll add that to my reading list... What's it about?

I'm in the midst of Goethe's Theory of Color, as well as reading through Wallace Steven's poetry, and a collection of W.S. Merwin's short prose. When I finish Goethe's Theory of Color, I'm going to be tackling Kafka. I've got some Kerouac and a few writing theory books as well all lined up...

And as to the target on the wall? I should very well consider that... It's the downside of being an english major...

I can't possibly do justice in describing this brilliant piece of work, but I've found a longish description which might do the trick. It's about Satan, writers, love, Pontias Pilate, politics... eh, just read the description if you want to know. Feel free to ignore it if you wish, of course ( ... )
