I basicly have the Kaos Corporation mySpace running on my computer. I built it my fucking self. Validated user registrations, member lists, comments, profile editors, friends lists, accessabilty limits, user blogs, user interests and probably something else. I don't remember

Some sites block the mail() function from being used because of the potential exploits--that you can use it to send out spam e-mails and other users could as well.
