Yeah, I know how much it is over there. It's crazy. The difference is, though, you guys have an adequate and competent public transportation system. We don't! This is why we rely a LOT more on personal vehicles to get around. If I could take a bus or train somewhere, I'd be all up on that shit, but I can't.
In my Womens Studies course a LONG time ago (whenever I was at uni), my teacher said that the only time you see gas prices go down is after the quarterly or annual reports for gas and oil come in. It lures the consumer into a false sense of security and to think their voice is heard before the prices skyrocket back up.
Plus, supply and demand. We need gas now more than ever, so obviously, the demand is high. If a group of people (it would have to be in the millions to make a dent, I think) stopped using gas, Im sure the price would go back down because the demand is not meeting the supply.
I wish Vegas was hospitable to bikes or walking or else Id be doing that.

That's so crazy! And you know, I think it's funny because they keep rising...and they NEVER go back down. We'll probably see $4 by the end of June -_-

...That's. HOLY SHIT. That's £5.22 a gallon, which is $10.31. That's to UK Gallons.
...1 US gallon is £4.35. Which converts to $8.59
