Thank you for posting the step by step making of a loaf of bread. I was surprised when she removed it from the black cooking pot.

Question, please. I cannot determine if she cooked this in a fire place ... I see the bricks and think this is the case. Either way, I will be more thankful for the bread I buy at the store.

Life is so difficult for the village people. Once more I admire them -- and this young woman for doing the best with what she has.

the mistery is resolved by my crappy flash that had ruined mid\process shots ж)
we had been keeping fire for several hours a day to heat the stove and the house (at last warm enough to fall asleep in the warmth)
then all coals had been thrown outsde to close the chimney
the pot with dough then had been placed inside with closed lid
in the morning the bread had been still a bit warm and ready
that small loath is for two days
1cup of flour, 1/2water, 1-2g of ready dry yeast, a bit of oil, salt, sugar

i am buying similiar ones here in Moscow sometimes
it is good to carry under coat in winter ж)
