In photo 1, are you cooking clams?

What is the meaning of the two stones? One has string wrapped around it?

And in the next photo, is that food cached high above ground to keep the bears away?

Lovely lightly, clouds and sunset.

1 some mixed soup : pasta rice onions etc.
2 stones are keeping a boat from being blown away into the forest from a shore (one is an anchor)
and it is bread being dried ahead under the sun

The photo with the bread drying is interesting. I have never heard of drying bread in the sun. It seems it will be very hard to cut or eat.

yes it is stone hard but can be stored endlessly even in wet climate
even if it is too hard to bite it can be put into soup anyway

That tiller (rotary hoe?) isn't going to get far in all those weeds!

Love the rusty iron and wood, the bird prints, the seaweeds, the landscapes, and those clouds look like there's going to be a change in the weather!
