A Eulogy for Ian - by his friend, Willin

Hi I am Willin. I know Ian from cell group and I really look forward to meeting Ian again in heaven. Today I will share a poem:

I'm free

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard him call;
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.

Eulogy for Ian

Thanks Paris for sharing this and making the effort to update everyone. Even tho I only know Ian from his blog, I too share the grief and found this poem comforting. Regretfully, I didn’t make the effort to get to know him personally as I can see how much he loved life! We should try to remember that Ian is no longer suffering and is happily dwelling in heaven. Do take care.
