We both needed some rest, so the hospital were going to give her painkillers, whilst I came home and had a nap (with the aid of some strong beer). I'll be heading back there shortly to see how things are going. I'll pass everybody's best wishes on.

I'll go back to the hospital this morning and take some photos. I'm sure that I'll be up for a celebratory pub crawl soon.

Granddad might be coming along to the moot, but I'll be going back to the hospital to see Gemma. Hopefully she might be allowed out in the morning. They need to be certain that he's feeding properly, as he's not too keen on sucking on nipples yet. I'll remind him of this when he's a teenager!

Thanks! I'm getting a bit emotional with birth of first child, plus lack of sleep, plus beer(!), but it would be great to meet up some time. It's ages since I last saw you, I can't even remember when it was now (Debbie's talk?). Don't let the job from hell get you down too much. You're a wonderful person and a much treasured friend.

Simon is working on the garden and when it is done, I was thinking of trying to get the Budgies together.

Theres a heap of dirt in the middle of it at the moment, but he's put bricks around the edges of the beds in an eliptical shape, and it looks quite cool!

I'd certainly be up for a budgie reunion. There's also the GBBF coming up, plus the celebratory pub crawl, if you're interested in either of those.
