Update: OUCH!
tonight while keeping ourselves entertained at the back guard post, we decided to go up on the roof and hit gold balls covered in Chem lights into the lake and watch them with the NVGs. after we got bored with that we though "oh i know what we can do! lets cover the Gator (little 6 wheeled ATV thingy" in the black light shit and drive around with the lights off and ill film it through the NVGs!" this sounded like an awesome idea, and it was going really well and pretty cool/funny to watch. then, as i was running along the side of the flat concrete roof i suddenly noticed there was a lack of surface under my feet and i plummeted 11 feet onto a wooden pallet with a sheet of Plexiglas on top of it. my hands hit the ground first sending the NVGs and the camera flying about 6 feet away from my landing site, next came my ribs followed very quickly by my head bouncing off the dirt. my left pelvic bone area is incredibly bruised and it hurts to walk sit, lay and breath. my hands dont really like to move but my love for letting you all know what happens to me and the attention i want from such an awesome thing drives me through the pain. and my head has some nice cuts on it. if i hadnt been wearing my flack jacket i no surely would have broken a rib or two, worst part about it all, when the camera hit the ground it erased the whole film. total bummer!
