ooc: guys i'm sooooooooo sorry for my MIA-ness. the past week or two have been absolutely crazy. tons of school work. multiple mental breakdowns. not to mention the flu (two days before i was to get my flu shot, mind you >but the good news is, it's easy enough that Ian was just unconscious for those two weeks or so. annnnd now it's time he woke up

Cecilia was half asleep as she was curled up uncomfortably on a chair beside Ian's bed. Every other day she had been coming in to visit him, and she must have lost track of time because it was much later than she thought.

She heard a stirring beside her and her eyes snapped open.

"Ian?" she whispered.

[ianfletcher]

"Oh, Merlin, Cessy," he said quietly. His voice was raspy after not having been used in over a week.

His eyes rested on her for a moment before glancing around the room.

"I feel like shit," he said as he finally returned his gaze to her.

She turned her body to face him, and propped her elbows on her knees. She let out a small sigh of relief that he had even woken up.

"You look like shit," she replied, raising her eyebrows at him. "What in the bloody hell happened to you?"

As the reality of his actions hit him, his whole body seemed to sting.

"I made a big mistake," he said, letting out a small nervous laugh.
