Stranger than Stereotype

Man meets woman, woman loathes man despite awkward chemistry. Man pronounces his love for women despite her much obliged resentment of everything he is (in this case, a tax man), eventually the woman comes around and falls in love, they live happily ever after, yadayadayadaya.

very good argument I agree that the movie its self is also a stereotype or should I say a typical movie with the same mussy endings.

I do agree with you and also would say that the movie as a whole could be considered a stereotype. But I would like to add that even though it is foreseeable, it IS original. The idea of a narrator speaking to Harold in his own head, and this narrator being alive, writing his story in a novel, seems to me, quite intriguing and original.
