I just went and saw Eragon with the fam. I enjoyed it. The scenery was beautiful! (Apparently it was shot in Hungary. I think I need to go there now.) And the kid playing Eragon? CUTE! I felt like some of it was a bit flat and lacking in substance, but I'm not sure if that's from the book or because they were trying to avoid making a movie as long ( Read more... )

Isn't it? I'm dying to come across the "perfect" pattern for it.. Don't want to use it for the wrong thing!

*Drools* Lorna's Laces..... Looks like sportweight, or thereabouts? Elfine is for teeny-tiny sock yarn on size 1s, but it's purdy! And instead of spring green, they'd be more autumnal leaves. These are leafy too, and for sportweight. (Can you tell I like leafy lace patterns?)

Let us know how Briar Rose is. Oh hey, did you ever finish your 50 books thing? I can't remember.

Ooh.. the yarn likes both of those. And there's nothing wrong with liking leafy lace patterns. (Hm. Perhaps I should wait until I've attempted one before I say that.)

I think I've read 30 books since I started counting, although I haven't posted about the past couple. I don't think I'll finish another 20 by the end of the month, but I think that since I read most of those in the months better semesters, I did fairly well. :)
