That's so exciting!!! Will you be working the day it comes out? I assume Lyz, Tala and I will be sitting outside hours before they let us line up whether you're working or not.

Your friday shift, is that a morning shift? I was hoping we could hang before I got my hair did at 8. Maybe have another knitting party?

Oh, yeah, it's a morning shift. 7-1. I agreed before I really thought about it. But, yes, let's get together! I'm supposed to go shopping with my mum when I get home, but I'm sure we'll be done long before 8 and we can do something. Plus I'm off all day Saturday, so we could do stuff then, too. (I haven't looked at your schedule yet to see if we can do that.)

I will definitely work the midnight release! I'm going to be Ginny. :) I was assigned the role pretty much when I first started working there, and if anyone's forgotten, I will make sure to remind them. :D

Okay, we'll do something before 8 on friday. Saturday, I work the morning shift, so I'll be off sometime around five. I'll be free all evening!

The opening manager today (who is awesome) came and showed it to me while I was on the phone with a customer, so I had to silently celebrate. Then I hung up while he was going up the escalator with it (he went and showed it to everyone before putting it up, haha) and I told him that I preordered mine a week ago (maybe more, now.. 12/23). Later he pulled up the list of reservations, pointed to his name (first on the list, I was fifth), and said, "Look who's first! The master!" It was great. He kept distracting me with Potter stuff all day long! He even offered me the old preorder sign from before the title was released, which we never used. (Will remember to grab it tomorrow.)

Everyone I work with knows that Potter is my biggest weakness, so it's really no surprise that I got next to nothing done all day long. At one point a coworker turned to me and asked if we're allowed to preorder the book yet. Not a manager, me, because I have become the resident Potter authority. It's great!

Yeah, this was a rather long comment.. Sorry. ^^;;
