Can you go into more detail how you see deepening skills in these? Certainly one can always grow more adept in each of these areas. And I'd go so far as to say that at most, as a rule, we tend to be functional rather than reaching mastery in all areas of any of them.
Of course I wouldn't admit to mastery of fire until you can create any size fire at will, following your will- at all times, anytime. But it has been pointed out that I tend to grade rather steeply.

What skills are you expecting people to come to the sessions with and what do you expect them to do better after?

To be blunt, I'm not *expecting* that the students have any skills already. I'm sure some of them will, but that's not necessary to take the course. What's necessary is that each student has read and absorbed at least one or two basic books on the Craft, and has tried some ritual themselves.

What I'm trying to emphasize in the description is that I'm not going to cover the theoretical material they can get by reading intro to the Craft books.

Fair enough, but I wouldn't call it an intermediate-level course then. If there is no expected skill level. This does sound like it could be a very useful hands-on beginner's course.

If I call it beginners, people will think "101" and assume they don't need to have any background. In case you haven't noticed, people tend to evaluate their experience as greater than you or I would. Many of them seem to think that the epitome of ritual experience is being able to perform a basic circle from memory.
