I (Hermes0 was in the original Bluestar and seperated with Branwen and Caspian. After the seperation there was only one circle before our 2 groups went our own way. We had all worked together as the Philly group prior to seperation and were quite close with Branwen and Caspian. I had joined Bluestar with my former mate in Norristown Oct 77 and initated in 78 in Brooklyn. When we seperated from bluestar in Mar 77. We split and then Branwen and caspian moved west. we remained friends and whem I received my 3rd degree in England in '80 I transmitted that 3rd to branwen. My group was named Maidenhill after the '79 split. I maintained maidenhil till 'o1 when my current wife whom I met in '98 became my HPS and I moved to Fl and then SC. I also got my 3rd degree in gardnerian craft in '97. I concur that we developed our own boook of shadows but retained some features of our early practice in Bluestar. However we are all different groups and developed in our own ways with different features and practices. I am available for comment at

My Craft name is Hermes.I was brought into Bluestar in Norristown on Samhain of '77. I was initiated in Bluestar Sept '78 with my then wife Bridget in Bluestar in the fall equinox in brooklyn at the Covenstead. HPS/Hp were franque the wizard and Tziporah. Myself and Bridget and Caspian and Branwen practiced in Phila and drexel hill and we all separated fro Bluestar on the equinox mar '79 where we met with Franque in his store in NYC at 33rd nd 3rd with the permission of Pam the elder. We travelled back to Pa to my Wynnefield Phila home and had a circle and also had the permission of Pam the elder to break away. Caspian and Branwen then broke away to form their own group and initiated a new member who had been working with us all (Julia). Branwen an Caspian moved west for work. Myself and Bridget pracrticed with Julia and others and renamed our coven Maidenhill.At one point we had over 17 members and included the owner of a craft shop from south Phila. We lived in Manayunk until '85 then a year in Michigan and back to Phila. In 1980

Branwen and Caspian and Me and Deirdre and Hagar and later ,Julia practice din Phila and Drexel Hill after Blue-star left Norristown and commuted to NYC. In 1979 we left Bluestar after traveling to NYC to talk to Frank the Wizard.With the blessings of Lady pam our elder we split form Bluestar and almost immediately split into 2 groups. Our group which became Maidenhill and Branwen and Caspian's group . In 1980 I received a 3rd degree in Brit trad in England from the coven of Rhiannon and Merlin with whom I had a long distance relationship before traveling with my then HPS Deirdre to Sale. Manchester England. Apparently our work and association and talk through the night inspired them to invest us in a Wiccan circle with our 3rd degrees. We passed this 3rd to Branwen and she to Caspian. We had returned to visit with the Coven in England in 1983 and also visited the circle of the nine ladies or sisters. I continued as Hp of Miadenhill and hosted the Fararars (Janet and Stewart) in 1995 in Phila and South Jersey in Circles and a week of
