It is okay to find vegan food in Singapore. The local food is middle eastern, so includes a lot of falafel and mezze that we can eat. There are a number of veggie Indian restaurants in the Indian quarter, and a posh semi-raw vegetarian restaurant in the middle of the world's biggest hotel.
There are also western supermarkets in every mall, and a solitary organic food shop moving into one of them.
Yes, thank you! My friend is traveling through there this spring and I was concerned--quite needlessly, I'm sure, because he is very resourceful, but this information has quieted my mind on the subject(s).
