Yes. Tony's not being awfully co-operative. Still, maybe heading for the bedroom is a good move in the long run?

Oh - you reflect what is in Tony's head perfectly! Love Tony's internal dialogue trying to figure out what is different about Gibbs and then knowingly going down his own fantasy path - wonderful, yet again! It is so clear how well he understands the other man and is looking for precisely what has changed...

As usual, your sensory descriptions really help us "feel" the tension/anticipation in the room :D Kudos!

But I gotta'say (with a whine) - uhh... what a painful place to leave us!

Thank you so much - I love fics that I can phyically feel, and I really try to replicate that when I write.

...but that means I have to leave you there so you can properly empathise with the two stubborn mules in question!

Sweet that Ducky telling Tony, "Well done, my boy", re:helping Gibbs, was his most cherished moment. I guess I can see why he wouldn't want to mess up what he already has with Gibbs, in order to have more. But, still, I can't help hoping he screws his courage to the sticking point (gosh that sounds so double entendre!), and takes a chance.

Thanks. Looking forward to the next chapter...

Gah! Come on, Tony, you've only got two chapters left!

I loved his observations of Gibbs, how he could detect the little something that's off, because that's how well he knows Gibbs, even if it took him awhile to decide what that something was. I guess that was understandable, though, because who expects Gibbs to be uncertain?

But then he backed off! What will Gibbs do? Please tell me he's going to get past his uncertainty and follow Tony?

Laura.

Maybe?

Or then again, maybe he won't?

Sorry. Evil person here!
