..what would cause a car to shudder within 2 minutes of start-up and it's engine light come on? I was ok when we first started it, then it just started shaking like we were running over rocks. It's got antifreeze in it.. that wasnt frozen. Worked fine yesterday.. something has to have frozen, that's the only explanation I have ( Read more... )

one or two pistons not firing might do that.

Turns out it's clogged fuel injector.. mainly carbon buildup. Thanks for the idea/suggestion though! *HUGS*

something restricting the air flow.. maybe the battery is too low to get the pistons firing like Gryph suggested.. shouldnt be coolant related.. intake manifold may be frozen shut.. dunno

Clogged fuel injector. Eric went and had the oil changed and had them poke it.

i had a car that would do that when it was butt ass cold and left out over night. the oil would get too cold to lube anything. that might be it. where do you live?

we live eastside.

Turns out it's a clogged fuel injector. Eric had the oil change guys look at it.
