Timeline - The 21st Century

The 21st century is when... everything gets really complicated and gives me a headache.

Unsurprising really. Obviously the 21st century is when the bulk of the episodes relevant to this timeline occur, so each year has to hold a lot more information. It's also a period where we're less likely to have exact dates that things happen as they're rarely ( Read more... )

I've just read through the three of these, and really, this is some amazing work. There's just one thing I thought I'd highlight (I hope you don't mind). In 'End of Days' between Jack dying and coming back to life, there is a scene where Tosh says to Gwen 'it's been days', so that would hint that his leaving with the Doctor couldn't be on the next day.

With this much information it's hard to get everything right, and you've done really amazingly.

It's spurred me on to by the archives book too...

Oh man, these timelines are awesome, and help me understand things a lot more, seeing as I've drifted in and out of DW.

Hmm, but: the trouble with pushing s2 into 2008-2009 is that "Dead Man Walking" cannot take place any later than 13th February 2008, given that we have both an in-text statement of Owen's age and a full in-text DOB... {scratches head} I'm inclined to go with the 2007ish date for "Reset" and say that "Aliens of London" is the easier point to fudge w/o any mentioned dates in?

Or it could be one of those wibbly-wobbly things where they're not points from the same timeline, because the Doctor's presence has been known to change things... But I think I look tired. ;)

(BTW, the word Owen uses IRT 'space pig' isn't working, it's joined:

OWEN: Oh, come on, Tosh. There's no way you could've anticipated that power spike, come on. Besides, you've saved… my back so many times in the past. Right from the moment I joined.
TOSH: Your second week I had to cover for you, pretend I was a medic, cos you were hung over and unreachable.

So possibly some wiggle room in there as to the exact level of his involvement at a given point? ...Yeah, I'm reaching. :) )
