I agree with the posters above me. This is a great community and a great source of information for the fanfic writers.

Even if Torchwood is dead dead dead (well, it is to me) and even if the community won't be updated anymore it would still be a shame to see it deleted.

I'd also volunteer to take over the comm. You were my saving grace while I was writing an elaborate CoE fix-it fic, and the least I can do is keep your hard work alive on the internet.

I just want to thank you as well, I read all the additional stuff through this comm, it is brilliant. Especially as it covered material available on both the BBC and BBCA. I'm delighted to see some volunteers, I am such a luddite that this is the type of comm I could never run, I find it difficult to post in my own journal!

I hope it doesn't come down. I stopped watching after 2nd season, and my personal AU is that everything after the Adam episode was still delusion.

In which case, Ianto's desk is still active...

Hello! I am completely new to Torchwood fandom, coming in after CoE. I'll stay with the fandom, and do look forward to series 4. I hate to see a quality site like this go down.

While I am quite a fan of fixit fics (because Ianto is my favorite character, too), I think what keeps me in is that bitter, angry sense of loss I felt when Ianto died is where Jack is--and why Jack left. So, I identify. And I am eager to see how Jack's tale continues.

So, yeah, here's my vote that the com continue. And as a newbie in the fandom, my sorrow that so many fine members of this fandom are moving on. You will be missed. (And your work will continue to be enjoyed by new fans, just now finding it).
