Ianto was in Jack’s office tidying up when he noticed that Jack was down in the archives. He sat down at Jack’s desk, made sure no one was watching him and zoomed in closer on Jack. Oh cariad, you are gorgeous. I love you so very much. He sat watching him, knowing that Jack had done the same when he’d been down there. He saw Jack bend over the table looking for something he’d dropped, and has he did Ianto felt the stirrings below the waistline knowing that later he would be able to take Jack to their own house and take him to bed.
Checking he wasn’t being watched, he palmed a hand over his arousal and moaned. At that same moment Jack looked up into the camera and smiled at him. No, he couldn’t know I’m watching him, could he? Ianto smiled into the camera and rubbed his hand harder, he wanted Jack so much, it hurt when they were apart. Jack continued to look into the camera and mirrored exactly what Ianto was doing. The pair of them staring at each other and palming their arousals. Ianto could feel himself coming and hoping that he wasn’t making too much noise. He moaned as he felt the release. Jack he noticed had his eyes closed and was also on the verge of release.
He continued to watch Jack and watched him shudder as he came. They looked into each others’ eyes and smiled. How did he know I was watching? Ianto looked down into the Hub, hoping none of the others could see him. Seeing that they were all busy at their stations, he quickly made his way down into their quarters. They still left some of their clothes there for an emergency. He had to get cleaned up. He couldn’t got back to the others looking like this. He quickly changed his suit, formulating an explanation as to why he’d changed, then went down to the rest.
Jack had an idea that Ianto had been watching him. God Ianto Jones, I love you so very much. I never want to lose you. After what he’d just done he imagined that Ianto had been doing the same, and he smiled. They couldn’t get enough of one another. Jack had to make his way back to their quarters to change, he couldn’t let the others see what had happened. He hoped that Ianto had been able to sort himself out without too many questions from the others. He had to pass the workstations on his way up from Archives but luckily he had his great coat with him so that would come in useful, he could carry that in front of himself so the others wouldn’t see his predicament.
Ianto went down to the rest of the gang “Hey guys you ready for a coffee?”
“Oh that sounds great Ianto I was wondering if you were making some.”
“I did, but you’ll have to wait a bit longer I’m afraid. I had a bit of an accident.”
Gwen looked across at her friend, noticing the change of suit. “What happened Ianto?”
“Oh I was just putting the water into the machine and I tripped and the water went down me instead.”
He saw them giggle, thank goodness they believed him. He would have hated to explain what he’d really been doing.
Jack appeared back from the archives just as Ianto was explaining the change of suit.
“Hey Jack what’s with carrying the coat?”
“Erm….I had a bit of an accident. I was down in the archives and reaching for some files when I caught my trousers on a sharp nail and they ripped, I’m just off to change, back in a minute.” He looked across to Ianto and winked.
Oh God, Jack had known what he’d been doing. Ianto had to turn away from the team as he felt himself blushing and he really didn’t want to have to explain to them why.
“Guys, you are accident prone today aren’t you?” giggled Gwen.
Within minutes Jack was back with the rest of them. “Ok gang anyone for a trip to the park?”
“Why what’s in the park? And which park would that be?”
“Bute Park and we have a visitor there.”
“But nothings come up on the monitors Jack, I can’t see anything out of the ordinary.”
“No you won’t Tosh, they appeared last night and they have cloaked themselves. They’re not hostile, just stuck.”
“Is that why you disappeared from our bed last night?”
“Ok tea boy, enough of the bedroom antics, it’s too early in the day thank you.”
“Owen, I was just going to say….”
“Do I really want to know what you were going to say?”
“All I was going to say was that I’d woken up and noticed Jack had gone. That’s all.”
They looked at Ianto, who had turned a lovely shade of red, then looked at Owen and laughed.
“If you’ll let me explain I’ll tell you what’s going on. I was down in the archives checking my theory. And….I was right.”
“Right about what?”
“The visitors in the park are the Nerrims. They travel to different planets collecting information on the inhabitants, not so they can attack them but to learn about different cultures. They appeared here around 50 years ago. I met them then and helped them. I went to talk to them last night and they are in a spot of bother.”
“Why what’s happened.”
“Their pilot has fallen ill. I told them we had a medic at Torchwood and they asked if he could help them. I offered your services Owen. So come on let’s go do some good for a change. It’s nice to help some visitors and not spend all the time fighting them.”
“Great, thanks for that Jack. How do you expect me to help them when I’ve not seen them.”
“Oh, they’re just grateful for any help we can give them. Just have a look at him and tell them what you think they need to do. They’ll be happy.”
“Ok, I’ll give it my best shot. What’re we waiting for then?”
Owen, Tosh and Gwen went to get equipment they thought they may need and Jack went and wound his arms around his lover.
“You ok my love?”
“Mmmm yes Jack I’m good, why?”
“Oh well you’ve got changed since I went down into the archives.” Jack smiled.
“Erm, well I had a bit of an accident. A bit like yours I believe.” He leant into a kiss and smiled as they pulled apart.
“You’re wicked Mr Jones, but I love you all the more for it.”
“I love you too Jack, let’s hope the others didn’t realise what we’d been doing.”
“No, I don’t think they did.”
Ianto kissed Jack again, more passionately this time, just as the others got back to them.
“Oh please, can’t you two leave each other alone for one minute? There’s time for that later.”
“Thanks Owen, just next time I catch you kissing Tosh I’ll remind you what you’ve just said.”
Tosh blushed, she still hadn’t gotten used to the others knowing about her and Owen, but she was beginning to realise they were all happy for her and that they were only joking when they started commenting on their relationship.

They arrived at Bute Park to find a black cube with bright pink markings, sat in the middle of the park.
“Ok so how do we get in?”
“Oh don’t worry Owen, they know we’re here and they’ll be….”
Before Jack could finish his sentence a door opened in the side of the cube. A creature emerged from it and went straight to Jack. It was around 7 foot tall and had 3 legs, its head was oval and had two eyes on either side of its head. It seemed to smile when it saw Jack.
“Captain Harkness, we meet again. It’s been too long, thank you for agreeing to help us. We’re sorry that we had to interrupt your night but we needed help.”
“No problem, Captain, what is it we can help you with?”
“We know our pilot is ill, but we don’t know what to do about it. We were hoping your medic could tell us.”
“I’m sure Owen will be glad to help, won’t you Dr Harper?”
“What, oh, yeah, sure. Where is he?”
“She’s inside, would you like to follow me and I’ll take you to her.”
“I’m never going to live this down am I? A female pilot, what next?”
Tosh playfully slapped his arm, kissed him and pushed him towards the doorway. The kiss didn’t go unnoticed by the others. She was more outgoing since she’d admitted her feelings for Owen and they were pleased for her. He had a good effect on their colleague, and the love she had for him shone through more each day.
Owen disappeared into the cube and for several minutes the rest of them waited patiently for his diagnoses. He emerged ten minutes later shaking his head.
“What’s the matter Owen?”
“It’s not good Jack. She’s had an adverse effect to our common cold. She needs to get back to her own planet for their medics to administer the right treatment. If I gave her some of ours it’s likely going to kill her. She’ll survive if they go now. Unfortunately they have a problem.”
“What’s that?”
“They haven’t got another pilot on board, they’ve got no one to fly their ship.”
The captain of the cube came back out and looked at Jack. “Captain Harkness, I’m sorry to have to ask you this, I know you’ve seen our space ship up close and you’ve looked at the controls, I was wondering if you would do us the honour of flying us back to our planet?”
“But there’s a problem with that. Look I’d gladly do it, but….but I only have two arms and two legs. If I remember rightly, you fly your ship with your legs, 3 of. How am I going to achieve that?”
“I was hoping that someone else would come with you. We trust you and don’t want to be a burden to you, but we need to get our pilot back home before she dies.”
“I’ll go with you Jack. You can show me what to do.”
“Ianto, I appreciate that, but there is a problem.”
“Yeah, what’s that?”
“How are we going to get back home?”
“Oh don’t worry Captain Harkness, you and your colleague will be transported back down to earth. Since we were last here we’ve designed a transportation system that means we can, for want of a better way of putting it, beam you back down.”
“Ok, I accept that, but is it safe?”
“We think so. We’ve been testing it on our race and they’ve been transporting to all different planets. We haven’t tested it on any other race, but we are sure that it’s safe.”
“Look Jack if we don’t do this, the pilot will die. I’m sure we’ll be ok. I trust them.”
“Ok Ianto, let’s go.”
The captain of the cube thanked the two men. Jack and Ianto entered the cube and the door closed.

Jack and Ianto managed to get the cube back to the Nerrims planet without too much bother. Jack remembered what they had told him before and he was able to help Ianto.
“Ok Captain Harkness, Mr Jones are you ready to go home?”
“Yeah, we are.” Jack held Ianto’s hand tightly as they prepared to be transported.
The Nerrims took them through to the transportation room. Ianto looked at Jack, concern in his eyes. Jack pulled Ianto close and kissed him, just at the point where the Nerrims pressed the button to send them home.

Owen, Tosh and Gwen were waiting patiently when they heard a noise sounding like two cats fighting. In the following seconds they saw the faint outline of two bodies appear. They waited.
Jack and Ianto held on tightly to each other and felt themselves move. They knew they were travelling but it felt like someone had pushed them over a cliff.
“Jack, what’s happening, I feel….”
“Ianto, don’t worry everything is going to be….”
They passed out.
Owen saw two bodies appear in the place where the cube had been. They materialised, then they collapsed. They were still holding on to each other.
The team ran over to the two men and looked. Owen checked their pulses, but found none. He wasn’t too bothered just yet, he’d begun to get used to them dying. He hoped it wouldn’t be too long before they came back. As they watched they heard a large gasp of air and they came to shouting each others names.
They were still holding tightly to each other “Ianto, Yan you ok?”
“Yeah Jack, I’m fine, I think. Wow that was….”
“Yeah I know what you mean. Erm….I think we’re being watched.”
The pair of them, still with arms wrapped around one another, looked up at their colleagues.
“Ok Jack, I know you two get up to stuff I’d rather not know about, but come on, even when you’re both dead you’re still holding on to each other. Please….how much more can my sweet innocent eyes take from you?”
The girls looked at Owen, looked at Jack and Ianto and laughed. They helped the men up and they were all laughing.
“Come on let’s get back to the Hub, I think we’ve had enough excitement for one day don’t you?” exclaimed Jack.
“Yeah quite enough thank you especially with you two.”
“Thanks Owen, tell you what, why don’t we all go home. We deserve some down time. We’ll see you tomorrow.”
No one was going to argue about having time with their loved ones so they all said goodbye and went their separate ways.
“Jack!”
“Yes my love?”
“Take me home and take me to bed.”
“Mmmm my pleasure sweetheart.”
“Do you think they ever suspect what goes on in the archives?”
“If they do they don’t say anything. Anyway I always get to the CCTV footage and erase it before anyone has the chance to see.”
Ianto kissed his gorgeous Captain, took his hand and led him back to the SUV, driving back to their house with promises that their actions earlier were going to become reality once they were in their bedroom.
