Election Day!

I'll be voting Yes to AV in the referendum (I use AV in all the union elections I've ever taken part in - it is not difficult for us plebs to understand whatever Cameron thinks).

I've no idea whom I shall vote for in the Council elections, given that based on the election material I don't even know who else is standing apart from ( Read more... )

Sigh. Sadly I don't think we're going to get any change as a result of this referendum, and then it'll be off the agenda for a good 10 years or more. Still, fingers crossed eh?

Good luck picking. We only have the AV vote in Wandsworth so we've been spared the door-stepping candidates this year.

I voted but to be honest I am so tired not entirely sure I voted the way I mean to. on the upside no bnp candidate - 2 tories and ukip after 2 votes.

yet the tory outside was pro first past the post if only I had had the energy to discuss the lack of logic of his view on one ballot and the form of the other one
