[Bellflower is at work - with the after-effects of the attack still lingering in injuries and damage around the sphere, she has no issue putting in a little more time at work. The only sign of her own little adventures is the simple sling her left arm is still tucked into.]

[Cloud shows up after perhaps twenty minutes--making sure his room was in decent enough shape that he could sleep there, that no one else in the Spa needed a hand, and replying to people in the journal.

He spots Bellflower after a moment, and heads over to intercept her. From the angle of his approach he can't see the sling quite yet, so he's smiling a little as he walks over.] Hey.

[She glances up from her work at the familiar voice, and returns the smile.]

Hello.

[Now he sees the sling and his smile ebbs away, replaced by a possibly-worried expression.]

...you're hurt.

Not as badly as some of the others. It will heal.

...good. [He wants to ask her if she's sure she should be working, but finally decides she's old enough to make those kind of decisions on her own.]

What can I help with?

At least it was a more dignified injury than a stray piece of siding. [Oh yeah, totally teasing him about that]

Organization, changing bandages - the worst of things has passed.

[He snorts quietly. Point to her.] Are you ever going to let that go?

Nnnn... I promised Mindelan that I'd help out with the clean-up, but I've got some time before I meet up with her. [He can at least do a little something before he leaves.] ...so. Anything else interesting happen while I was gone?

Maybe. [She gives him an amused grin, though it fades quickly]

I suppose someone has already told you about the zombies?

...yeah, they have. [Some rather graphic details, too.

He reaches down to pick up some loose bandaging, rolling it up slowly. He knows he'll get yelled at if he so much as takes out his matches, but he wants something to do with his hands as they talk.] Is that everything this place did?

We were given weapons, beforehand - I had a sword, one from my memories... [She's still wrestling with the significance of that]

Some of the creatures were more dangerous than others, unfortunately.

[His expression grows veiled, though he can't completely stop the sudden anger from showing on his face, his lips thinning into a line, eyes narrowing and eyebrows drawing down. It gave you all weapons... then attacked you with these zombie-things, obviously with intent to kill. He is now that much more angry with the Tree. Or maybe he should just be pissed at Edensphere in general. He manages to keep his hands steady, still rolling up the bandages methodically, but it's a near thing.

It takes him a moment to get his sudden surge of frustrated anger under control, so he can speak calmly.] ...I see. [Pause, deep, slow breath.] How many were injured? [Or, you know, killed?]

[She doesn't miss that little shift, but she does continue her work too, albeit at a slightly slower, more awkward pace]

Too many. Thankfully, most of the medics were relatively uninjured.

[He's silent for a time, rolling up bandages and wrestling with his emotions. Finally, just as he's finishing the last one, he mutters,] That's... good, at least. [At least they had people who could treat the injured. He doesn't have to feel guilty about not being here... or at least, not too guilty.]

[He gathers up the neatly rolled-up bandages into a basket.] You're holding up alright?

[She sighs softly, and then gives him a small smile.]

As well as can be expected. A little frustrated, perhaps.

[His glance drops to her injured shoulder. Frustrated because she got hurt, or because it stopped her from carrying out her duties normally? Not that it mattered which it was, really...

The smile prompts his face into... well, not a smile, not exactly. But the veiled turmoil on his face eases. He looks calm again, at least on the surface. Putting the basket aside, he starts to neaten up some towels that are lying nearby.] That's good.

[He glances at her again out of the corner of his eye, thinking. He could end the conversation here, or... ah, hell. He enjoys her company, and it's been a while since they had a chance to really talk to each other.] How've you been other than that? Been a while since we had the chance to talk.
