2) Strengths of the character Does badassery count as a strength? LOL. The character evolves a lot over the course of the show, and I find that to be a strength. Spike's other strengths are his resourcefulness, relentlessness and survival instincts. Additionally, capacity to love which was very unlike almost every other vampire in this world.
3) Weaknesses of the character: I listed relentlessness as a strength for Spike, and it is absolutely a weakness as well. His inability to let certain things go ( ... )

1) Why I like them, or why I don't: Given that he is my favorite character from this show, I love Don. Sometimes I'm surprised that Charlie isn't my favorite character, and there are times on the show where has been but overall I just really love Don. A lot of it has to do with relatabiity--while I relate to Charlie's compassion and caring for other people, his willingness to show open affection, I don't relate to his genius or much surrounding his life experiences ( ... )

5) Something I Wish was Canon for this Character: Resolution between Don and his parents regarding his childhood. The show did a couple of episodes that addressed the large disparity between what Charlie got from their parents and what Don did, but the first episode addresses this in regards to Charlie feeling guilty as he realizes just how much Don lost out on because of him, and the other episode deals with it strictly regarding how it shaped the relationship between the brothers and allowing them to move past it ( ... )

1) Why I like them, or why I don't: I absolutely love Daniel Jackson. He is the conscience of the show and of his team. He grows into his own over the course of the show and learns to challenge Jack when Daniel disagrees with him. Daniel is almost always right when he does so, but he also learns to consider the military perspective that Jack and Sam have. Also, he has a dry humor that I deeply appreciate. (And apparently many fans think this is a later season development. It's not, just the character gets a lot more opportunity to use it with Vala. Before Vala, he ONLY used it with Jack.)
2) Strengths of the character: His adaptability, willingness to learn and grow and see things from a different perspective.
3) Weaknesses of the character: Daniel is a little bit TOO willing to place himself on the line for someone else. An admirable quality but one that gets him killed many times. Dude, develop some instinct for survival, already.
4) OTP-Who I Ship Them With: In movie-verse, Shau'ri. In TV-verse, ( ... )
