it's not like kerry was for gay marriages....he wasn't...and actually it's more on the bush side since Cheney has a gay daughter....

No, Kerry wasn't for gay marriages. But he was against a constitutional amendment and he was for civil unions, which is more than Bush can say. And it's not on the "Bush side" at all because Cheney has a gay daughter. I mean, is her being gay a recent development? No, it's not. Bush knew he had a gay daughter and he still decided to try and get gay marriages banned.

And I didn't even mention Kerry with gay marriages in the first place, so... yeah.
