Is Michael Rasmussen, the overpowering danish climber now sporting a lovely shade of polka-dot, my new Iban Mayo? Probably not. I can't turn my back on Iban. Rasmussen is cool, but he's OLD. Hopefully he'll do something to cause Lance some trouble, that'd be fun.

Karpets: a top ten in this year's Giro, and he's sucking in the mountain stages here, so he's probably tired.

Savoldelli: wins this year's giro, and is somehow still strong enough to be a super-domestique for Lance...

haha, yeah i agree. I really can't see Disco being so stupid to do something like making all their domestiques look like they're crap during the Schlucht on sat and leaving their leader alone. A few injections here and there, and they're back to all being superhuman again.

but you're right, we can't say they did that without proof etc. if something like that was said on the cyclingplus.co.uk forums, you'd get lance fans flaming you and the mods e-mailing you to inform you that the post has been edited because it was defamatory etc, and then they'd write a long paragraph on how you should've written it lol. It happened to me when I pasted what someone had written on a Dutch forum about the accusations that were in Philippe Gaumont's book.

Just two days ago, I was the only one in Live Journal who had listed Thomas Voekler as an "interest."

Did you just add him?

Just curious question. ;-)

(I think Iban Mayo certainly gives Armstrong a run for his money by being the only one to stay with him on breakaways. Rasmussen, as of late, has been tailing back a little bit.)

I was totally wrong.

It's Ivan Basso who stays with Lance, not Mayo... goodness, their names are way too alike, I always get them confused.
