For Michael age 10 who tried to commit suicide today and the medical profession have given up... Nothing more can be done for him - and his family

Not really, but of course the police are now involved and the paraphanalia of the legal/medical systems now lumber into view. They have to look for all the more difficult possibilities.

There will need to be a post-mortem and an inquest.
