Link Up!

I'm always asking you guys to visit my blog but today I want to visit your websites. So, if you have a website besides your live journal then please post a link to it in a comment so I can check it out.
Maybe we can even trade links :)
I really just want to see what my LJ friends are up to online. Lets hold hands and share.

I keep trying to get motivation to learn how to put a website up but instead I just use my journal and I have a Yuku board where I keep my fan fiction. One of these days I'll get tired of both and do a website. Maybe. My hosting company doesn't make it easy for a newbie. *lol*

You should give Wordpress a try. I could help you install it. :) Just give me your hosting username and password and a domain name and I could have you up in no time. My website is all wordpress based. Wordpress rules. Plus you can make money with a website which is something you can't do with a Live journal..not like that's my goal online but why not make money from random people visiting your site and clicking on things they're interested in. I use google adsense on my website. I don't make a killing but I make a few bucks here and there.
Who's your host? Just let me know if your interested or when your interested.

My hosting company is www.hummingbirdhosting.com

I'm looking to switch from them bc their packages suck. I pay 10 bucks a month for hosting there and only get 2 gig of storage space. They don't have anything fun preinstalled and it's such a pain in the ass to install stuff using their directories.

Could you recommend a hosting company that may be better? I've checked a few places out but none of them seemed right to me.

I've used Wordpress for about 5 minute and then I used CuteNews for a little bit, but other than that, I have no experience!

Do you use Wordpress for everything on your site? Or do you still have to code certain things in html or php? I tried php and fell flat on my face. I really need someone to show me how to do it a few times and then I catch on pretty quick, but the people I've contacted don't really want to do that or they want to charge me a fortune for it!
