ETSU Update

Hey Everyone!  Just thought I would give a quick update.  Started ETSU last Monday and it sure is different from MECC.  I guess it's ok, except for having to drive 80 miles a day with the gas prices like they are.  It is exciting to finally get to do something new and have so many new opportunities waiting.  My temporary job at the bookstore was

LOL. I'm glad you are having such a great time at ETSU!! Sounds like you are really going to do well with it. (LOL...unlike me down here). I know what you mean about it being so different, and I guess in a way I understand about it being lonely. It's the same way here, only unlike you, I made the choice to appear "lonely". Been thinking a lot about that lately...course I guess you don't need to hear about all of that, lol. Mostly, I can't wait to finish up this year and go home. Who'd have thunk it? Best watch out Miss Becks. You'll be the one moving far, far away and marrying Gunther, and me, I'll be right back in good ol' SWVa, right where I want to be. Think maybe I've seen enough of the world, at least for now.

But anyways, before I REALLY get started...Much Love to You Miss Becks and I am so glad that you are finally finding your voice. :P

Thanks for the comment! Yeah, I guess after doing all that stuff at MECC I just can't stand to not be involved with something. I've already turned in an application for the Ambassadors only unlike Diplomats, you don't get paid :(

I'm thinking bout turning in an application to help out with the SGA too. Maybe that's just cause they are sponsoring the Dierks Bentley concert and I would def help out with that! Haha, sneak behind stage and run away with him!

I met a girl that reminds me of Tressi, a girl that reminds me of Crystal, a guy that reminds me of Flick, and a guy that reminded me of Rick from the library. There was a few more too, but I haven't met anyone that reminds me of you! I guess it's strange that ya try to think of other friends when ya meet new people.

My new dream is to go to England and find Gunther there, LOL

Haha. Naw, its not strange. So far down here, I've seen a Brad and a Tony. Can't think right now if there is anyone else. I think of the good ol' days when I can (which isn't often) and pretty much leave it at that.

But yeah, again, congrats! You are doing so well with yourself! I know what you mean about not being involved...it just feels WEIRD now, lol. Part of me wishes I would have done that when I first arrived, cause that always makes it easier, and now I'm so caught up in the storm of trying to graduate and just get out of here, that its unlikely that I will try. I've secured my place, and I'm happy enough waiting out my time.

I'm lovin those colors. They are just so pretty....wonder why they are APPALACHIA COLORS :) looks like you're enjoying ETSU about like I'm enjoying ODU I hate it with a passion. Ugh well maybe it'll get better our Senior year when it'll be over and God I can't wait. Well, just thought I'd comment and say hello.

Maybe they stole their colors from Appy....just like the false advertisement thing with the mountains, lol
