The RCCTC believes that creative expression is essential to the transcendence of learning; when co-experienced it can effect positive community change and lead to movement building. I had to read this over twice to begin to understand what the hell was going on. The first time I read it... I stopped halfway through and thought.. maybe the next statement will explain what's going on so I don't have to read this one.

No, of course not--jeez. The point is to make it seem intellectually sophisticated so that university people will look at it and go "we need to fund this."

The RCCTC believes that learning is even more awesome when it includes creative expression. Awesome learning experiences in a group setting can be even more awesome and can transform entire communities into complete awesomeness! The RCCTC's awesome mission is to bring about world-wide awesomeness by teaching and facilitating awesome learning experiences!

(Damn. I still ended up using "facilitating." These things are hard!)

The RCCTC believes that creative expression is essential to the process of self, civic, and academic learning; its practice has the power to transform personal, local, and global communities. The RCCTC's mission is to “crack open” the worlds of art and education through teaching and practice so that all people will have access to a creative education-this we believe is a fundamental human right.

Yea. This is much better. And I'm a college graduate... but with a painting degree.. so my opinion also means nothing.

i think this is very in line with the language of mission statements i've seen. i like it. also that is a powerful end! fundamental human right! it's campaign-y. good job.
