I'd say a few well-placed signs to help explain what an outdoor cat is to the college youngens would be helpful. I had a bit of a time getting outdoor cats... they don't have them in Livonia. And these college kids probably have a similar idea.. and they need to save the world one mistaken idea at a time.

I'd also suggest writing the sign when you aren't upset... you know how excitable them folk are.
