I am now the proud aunt of an 8 lb. 13 oz wormy named Defne!! She was born this morning. Mom and I came to visit--Jess and Sonny are euphoric. She's got a full head of hair and a little turned-down nose. That's really all I know about her so far, except that she pukes and poops and likes her hands.

That's wonderful news! Defne - is that kind of like Daphne, but not as Scooby-Doo? 8 lbs and 13 oz is pretty big I think - sounds like a healthy baby! Make sure you spoil her rotten.

It is like Daphne only more Turkish (=less Scooby-Doo?) It also means Bay Leaf in Turkish. She's a big ol wormy chunkers.
