they say that you can learn a lot about the culture of a society by its poetry. read its poetry and you will learn what it holds valuable.

our modern-day poetry is music and the lyrics that embody it. and, the other old school written type of poetry too, of course. just watch mtv, vh1, bet, cmt or whatever; or the radio. and analyse our 'poetry.'
